Javelin - ERP Consultant Engineer

The Role

• To provide cost effective training and support for end users throughout the product implementation and life cycle.
• Maximize both pre-sales and post-sales business opportunities and to promote the Vero ERP products.
• Empower the end users with the knowledge and knowhow to independently operate the ERP software.
• Identify key processes associated with specific industry applications

The Applicant

 Support for UK Vero Account Managers in the acquisition of new sales with the provision of technical advice and software demonstrations to customers and prospects in the UK & Ireland
 Identify and develop sales opportunities
 Deliver training and consultancy in the Vero ERP products on site, at Vero offices and also remotely.
 Liaize with customers to understand, advize and specify bespoke requirements
 Identify and champion product development
 Work with the development team to specify & test both bespoke and core software
 Write and deliver specified reports
 Deliver internal training on the ERP products to Vero Sales & Support teams
 Provide post-sales operational support to end users via our Helpdesk environment and Support Portal using good communication, analytical skills, initiative and flexibility to provide acceptable resolutions
 Develop and maintain Vero ERP training documents and media
 Utilize the Company CRM system to manage the delivery of support & services
 Developing strong relationships with all key stakeholders, including Sales & Development, as well as with the Customer base
 Be proactive in the approach to improving the delivery of services and support and to share these with the Vero ERP team where appropriate
 Must be willing to travel regularly primarily within the UK and occasionally Ireland to meet business needs

The Requirements

 Expertize in current industry MRP/ERP software (Javelin / WorkPLAN / SAP etc.)
 Have a full appreciation and detailed understanding of the activities associated with running a manufacturing company
 Customer facing or support experience.
 Ability to relate to and communicate with customer personnel at all levels from shop floor operators to senior management
 Ability to thrive in a pressured environment on a user site.
 Experience in Microsoft SQL and/or Crystal report writing
 Appropriate Degree / HND / HNC / BTEC
 High level of computer competency in current operating systems and Microsoft products
 Good oral and written communication skills
 Ability to work independently but also contribute to and actively promote a teamwork environment
 Ability to identify the potential of and learn to use new systems and applications as they become available
 Display a professional attitude & appearance
 Effective time management
 Follow policies and procedures
