Solutions Chosen for Knowledge Olympics 2016, Nov. 10-13, in Brasília, Brazil
“Vero Software is delighted to be involved in this important competition, as this event brings together the next generation of engineers to showcase their knowledge and drive the latest world-class technology,” said Nick Spurrett, Regional Director – Americas for Vero Software.
Hosted this year at the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, the Knowledge Olympics is the largest educational competition in the Americas devoted to the manufacturing profession. During four days of competition, roughly 500 participating students will be given real-market situations and challenged with using the technologies at their disposal to overcome realistic challenges.
Specifically, the student competitors will be expected to create technological solutions and products related to urban mobility, interactivity, creative economy and sustainability.
Throughout the competition, students will have at their disposal the same tools used by the manufacturing industry to design and produce products. SKA, event sponsor and exclusive Vero Software reseller in Brazil, will provide some of the solutions for challenges in the areas of construction, manufacturing and engineering technology, and transportation and logistics.
The complete redesign of an automobile is one of the competition’s most exciting and creative challenges.
