Area Sales Manager - Madrid
The role will necessitate developing strong relationships with all key stakeholders i.e. Externally: Customers, Dealers, Partners and Internally: Sales colleagues, Development, Marketing and Support within the organization to maximize the sales opportunities within the direct and indirect sales channels.

To promote best practice in all aspects of the business and to address conflict where this arizes within the sales channels for the most profitable outcome for the Group.
To develop positive relationships with the key stakeholders and partners relevant to the business unit.
To ensure effective and appropriate communication at all levels within the company.
Ensure all internal activities comply with company procedures, policies and are legally compliant, including adherence to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of company property.
To provide monthly reports on activities, opportunities and issues arising within the sales channels through the companies CRM system (Salesforce)
Be conversant with the products produced by or factored by the organization and able to explain the Group’s trading policies, licensing and maintenance contracts.
Execution of the sales strategy to bring profitable sales growth to achieve the business objectives.
Plan and prioritize sales activities and Customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
Maintain and develop existing and new Customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and Customer and satisfaction.
Use Customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Be instrumental in the formulation and execution of the sales strategy to bring profitable sales growth for all existing and new products produced or factored by Vero and to work in partnership with counterparts in the other Vero Businesses.
Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate the sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, eg. product launches, promotions, advertizing, exhibitions and telemarketing.
Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information, provide feedback on market information and Customers’ future requirements to Marketing and Development functions and to influence and support Group & divisional business strategies.
Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
Communicate, liaize, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
Attend and present at external Customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. Motivate, enthuse others to maximize their contribution to the business.
Monitor performance against KPIs, taking appropriate action when these fall below expectations.
The ideal candidate will have CAD/CAM knowledge and/or CNC Programming experience, along with analytical skills, be customer facing and have good communication skills.
Experience and knowledge of mold and die making, CNC metal cutting, Wire EDM or the tool making industry experience would be an advantage.
Skills needed for the role include: -
• CAD/CAM Sales Engineer and/or Machine tool Sales experience.
• Experience in a design, manufacturing or production environment.
• Customer facing - good communication skills
• Sales in Mold and die, metal cutting and tool room industries would be an advantage.
• Ability to work within a team.
This exciting role will also involve a certain level of Spain and foreign travel. A full clean driver’s license, a passport and ability to travel are mandatory.
