Edgecam - Area Sales Manager - South of England

For the production machining market Edgecam solutions combine the power of sophisticated toolpath generation with seamless CAD integration. Used globally within a multitude of industries, Edgecam consistently produces high quality toolpaths to ultimately improve productivity.

The Role

To achieve agreed sales targets, this will include software, services and maintenance ACCOUNTABILITIES • Targeting new business and following up sales leads • Maintaining relationships with existing customers • Further development of the business partner channel • Focusing on cost of sale, ensuring all business obtained is profitable • Providing the UK / EMEA Sales Manager with accurate information e.g. account progress, sales forecast, competitor activity, product and market requirements • Address customers in timely fashion, ensuring that all appointments and commitments are kept • Responsible for identifying the customer’s needs and matching a solution that meets the customer’s needs, ensuring that all attempts are made to avoid future support problems • Perform entry-level demonstrations to customers

The Applicant

For us to take your application forward, you will need to demonstrate excellent persuasive interpersonal skills, a proven sales track record in the UK, as well as experience in CAD/CAM. Successful candidates’ responsibilities will extend to include the execution of the sales strategy, plan and prioritize sales activities. You will also need to utilize the company’s CRM and business systems to manage your activities

The Requirements

 Good financial understanding.
 Excellent commercial skills
 Excellent selling skills
 Demonstrable experience of using CRM tools to good effect – ideally SalesForce.com
 Competent with all Microsoft Office applications
 Full Driving License

A working knowledge of Edgecam preferred or similar CAM Software.

• HNC/Degree level qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.
